How far is it from the real world to the metaverse? From STEPVR's point of view, the answer is only one door away.

 

PC-level computing unit, 360-degree free-moving omnidirectional motion system, ultra-thin VR head-mounted display, vibrating vest with tactile sensation... Once you enter the "Kaiyuan Realm" Metaverse experience hall, the world's first Metaverse entry-level commercial product "National "Cheng No. 1" is quite eye-catching. In this product with an area of only 3 square meters, several players wearing headsets can experience the virtual oasis world while running and walking.

 

It is understood that this is also the first official public appearance of the product in China since the "Guocheng No. 1" conference in May this year. In an interview with a reporter from the 21st Century Business Herald, Guo Cheng, the founder and CEO of STEPVR, pointed out that compared with VR headsets and all-in-one machines that can only restore vision and hearing on the market, "Guocheng No. 1" brings visual, The "five senses" experience of hearing, touch, smell and vestibular sense is close to 100% real immersion.

 

Among them, "Guocheng No. 1" is equipped with a self-developed universal motion system, which solves the world-class technical problem of moving freely in the virtual space. It is understood that "Guocheng No. 1" has been mass-produced and has successively entered the Singapore and South Korean markets. The first batch of products has been sold out quickly and delivery has been completed.

 

"At present, this product is gradually entering domestic communities, shopping malls, gymnasiums, party halls and other places." The relevant person in charge of STEPVR told the reporter of 21st Century Business Herald that it is expected that the family-oriented products will be launched next year. The floor area will be further shrunk and optimized in many ways to better fit the home environment.

 

In addition to the head-mounted display equipment, the virtual digital humans that can be seen everywhere are also the eye-catching points in the metaverse experience hall. At the booth of WUWI/HBC in China, through the virtual digital human generation system "IHUMAN" launched by the company, users can personally act as digital human beings and experience digital human live broadcasting.

 

Xue Mohan, the co-founder of WUWI/HBC in China, introduced to the 21st Century Business Herald reporter that the virtual digital human software and hardware integrated live broadcast solution provided by WUWI solves the problems existing in the current live broadcast, including account ownership, live broadcast duration, live broadcast The solidification of the brand image caused by the anchor, etc. In terms of virtual digital human customization, WUWI currently mainly provides services such as corporate brand digital human IP and virtual digital host customization for conferences and exhibitions.

 

"With the development of human civilization today, people's demand for immersion in virtual scenes has greatly increased. It is not only needed in virtual experiments, but in fact the appearance of this virtual scene itself may be a consumption hobby of people."  元宇宙之旅


          从现实世界距离元宇宙到底有多远?在STEPVR看来,答案是只隔一门。

 

          PC级计算单元、360度自由移动全向运动系统、超轻薄VR头显、带触感的震动马甲……一进入“开元之境”元宇宙体验馆,全球首款元宇宙登入门商用产品“国承1号”颇为吸睛。在这个占地面积仅为3平方米的产品中,数位戴着头显的玩家奔跑行走间,便能够体验虚拟的绿洲世界。

 

          据了解,这也是自今年5月“国承1号”发布会之后,该产品在国内的首次正式公开亮相。此前在接受21世纪经济报道记者采访时,STEPVR创始人兼CEO成指出,相较市面上只能实现视觉、听觉还原的VR头显、一体机,“国承1号”带来了视觉、听觉、触觉、嗅觉及前庭感觉的“五感”体验,接近100%的真实沉浸感。

 

          其中,“国承1号”搭载的一个自主研发的万向运动系统,解决了在虚拟空间里自由走动的世界级技术难题。据了解,“国承1号”已经批量生产,陆续进入新加坡、韩国市场,第一批产品已快速售罄,并完成交付。

 

          “目前,该产品正逐步进入国内的社区、商场、体育馆、轰趴馆等场所。”STEPVR相关负责人向21世纪经济报道记者介绍称,预计面向家庭级的产品将在明年推出,届时产品的占地面积将进一步收缩,并进行多方优化,从而更适配家庭环境。

 

          除了头显设备之外,随处可见的虚拟数字人也是元宇宙体验馆内的吸睛点。在WUWI/HBC在中国的公司的展台内,通过公司推出的虚拟数字人生成系统“IHUMAN”,用户可以亲身扮演数字人,体验数字人直播。

 

           WUWI/HBC在中国的公司联合创始人薛默涵向21世纪经济报道记者介绍称,WUWI提供的虚拟数字人软硬件一体化直播方案,解决了当前真人主播存在的问题,包括账号归属、直播时长、真人主播导致的品牌形象固化影响等。在虚拟数字人定制方面,WUWI目前主要提供企业品牌数字人IP及会议会展虚拟数字主持人定制等服务。

 

           “人类文明发展到今天,人们对虚拟场景的沉浸度需求已大幅提高,已经不仅在虚拟试验中需要它,实际上这种虚拟场景的出现本身可能就是人们的一种消费嗜好。”中国航空学会理事长林左鸣指出,元宇宙技术不但使产业经济价值在纵深上得以提升,也使产业经济价值在分布面得以拓展,在未来相当长一段时间内,不但科技和制造需要元宇宙技术的赋能,文化和艺术的发展也将得到元宇宙技术的助力。
